Splash Virtual Marketing Manager.

Challenge

 

Splash Hotels provides business consultancy services to several 4 star Hotels in

Ireland and abroad including Wineport Lodge, The Ice House, Bellinter House and Lisloughrey Lodge.  Our role was to provide an Virtual Marketing
Manager service to these Hotels to help them survive during these difficult times.

 

Solution

 

Splash were provided with a Virtual Marketing Manager and also had other key requirements such as email marketing, graphic design and copywriting at hand.

 

For a fixed fee each month, the hotels had a senior Marketer with years of experience to focus on their business on a day-to-day basis. We developed marketing plans for each hotel for the year and then worked with them to implement it on an ongoing basis. Activity included: 

  • The ongoing review of website statistics to ensure conversion rates and sales were maximised.
  • The development and execution of a Facebook strategy for Ice House that delivered sales of over €25,000 in the first 4 months.
  • An integrated outdoor, online and radio campaign for Wineport Lodge tha reversed a 30% industry decline and delivered a 10% lift in business over the previous year.
  • The development and execution of a group existing customer strategy and email marketing plan.
  • A full marketing audit for Lisloughrey Lodge to ensure they were spending marketing euro effectively and to identify new opportunities.
  • Design and copywriting of ad-hoc marketing such as radio competitions on Today FM and local stations, localised press campaigns and magazine campaigns. 

 
Results

 

While the industry has recorded a decline in business in the order of 30% or more, the Splash Hotel group has been able to buck that trend with little or no drop in business.
